New ORA Team member
ORA Architects welcome Graeme Hunter.
Graeme is a senior architectural technologist with over fifteen years project running experience in one-off dwellinghouses, speculative private housing, and affordable housing. He has also been the project lead on city centre high rise and mixed-use student accommodation and has knowledge of the healthcare sector working on care homes and medical refurbishment projects.
Recently, Graeme has been involved in a low-rise mixed development of 199 student bedroom, 60 BTR flats, and 20 affordable flats, clustered around a central landscaped courtyard, located in Leith, Edinburgh as well as a 21-storey student residential project located in Cathedral Street, Glasgow, to provide 400 student bedrooms, including social, study, and seminar spaces.
As well as being team player, Graeme’s key strengths include in-depth, expert technical knowledge, substantial experience working with the Scottish and English building regulations, energy design and experience of high-rise cladding design and replacement. Proficient in the use of Building Information Modelling software he can empower the decision-making process using fully constructed and intelligent 3D model representations from the outset of a project.
Graeme is a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.
